Prospect Camp and More

Cade has had an exciting week. He went to a prospect camp in the Southern States at a Div. 1 School. He was able to talk to some coaches about their teams and what Cade is doing. Cade pitched 2 innings and struck out 4. Cade did walk 1 batter but gave up no hits. After pitching he went to the plate and hit a triple of the right center wall. The key factor was that he was using a wood bat while everyone else was using composite bats. It was a good outing and a great experience.

Next up are 4 games on the weekend followed by School Exams and 2 games mid-week. On the 24th Cade will tryout for the Baseball BC Canada Cup team that will be playing in Fort McMurray Alberta in August. On the 25th in Richmond BC, Cade will be playing in the BC Minor All-Star Showcase.
