Last Weekend and Area Code Tryouts

Cade played in 4 games last weekend. On Saturday he played first base and hit the ball well. He had 2 RBIs and Scored twice. He had a single, a double, 2 walks, a sac fly and a strikeout.

On Sunday, Cade played in two games. One was an extra inning loss and the other was a win. Cade played 1st Base and 3rd Base in the two games. He had 2 more RBIs, a sac fly and a solid single. He was called out on a fair ball off his foot that the ump didn't see. Cade pitched in the second game. With the game tied at 4, Cade got win coming in to pitch in the 5th inning. He faced 10 batters, 6 Ks, 1 BB, 2 ground ball outs and 1 pop fly. He had the sac fly RBI is to ensure the 6-4 win.

In some exciting news Cade was invited to the KC Royals Area Code Tryouts at Gonzaga on July 12th in Spokane. Cade is so excited about this fantastic baseball opportunity.
