Lately I have been doing double duty as I have been playing Varsity Basketball and training for Baseball. Baseball is my priority and I am training with my team 3 times a week while working on my athleticism in my Advanced PE training class.
It has been great to see how the basketball is helping my athleticism. I have touch over 11 ft in the air. I am averaging a double double on the basketball court with 12 pts a game and 13 rebounds a game. I have been getting about 3 blocked shots a game as well. It is helping my mental toughness as I am always battling with big guys in the post. I have to perservere and remain composed.
It is helping my baseball as well. I have hit 87 mph off the mound pitching. In my driveline pull downs I have hit 96 mph. At the plate today, the ball was clocked at 89 mph off of the wood bat. I can't wait to get outside and see how far the ball is going because it feels so good.
